How can we help?
Questions, a calculation that looks off, or an idea for the app? We'd like to hear from you.
Get started
- Open Paydial and enter your salary amount. Choose per year, per month, or per week.
- Select your currency and how often you are paid.
- For monthly pay, choose the payday. For weekly or biweekly pay, choose one reference payday. Twice-monthly pay uses the 15th and the last day of the month.
- Save, then choose Hour, Day, Week, Month, or Year on the counter.
Use the settings button to change your details. Use Breakdown to see your next payday, each period's estimate, and your rates.
Understand the calculation
Each paycheck is distributed evenly over its pay period, around the clock. The app doesn't track work sessions, connect to payroll, or calculate taxes. If you want the figures to reflect take-home pay, enter a take-home amount.
The rate can vary with the length of the pay period. A monthly payday that falls beyond a month's final day moves to that final day. Displayed currency does not imply live exchange-rate conversion.
Add or update a widget
Set up your salary in the app first. Then use your iPhone's Home Screen or Lock Screen customization controls to add a Paydial widget. Edit the widget to choose the period it displays.
Widgets refresh on a schedule controlled by iOS. They may not tick every second or match the app at exactly the same moment. After changing your salary, save the settings and reopen the app. If a widget still looks out of date, remove and add that widget again.
Widgets can reveal earnings to anyone who sees your screen. Choose a placement that suits your privacy preferences.
Pause and resume
The Tracking switch pauses the app's displayed amount at the selected moment. Turning it back on returns to the current estimate. It doesn't change the underlying salary or pay period, and widgets use their own timeline.
Compatibility and cost
Paydial requires iOS 26 or later and is designed for iPhone. The app is free, with no ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. App Store availability is shown on the download section of this site.
