Paydial does not send your salary, pay schedule, or calculated earnings to Rho Tau. No account, advertising, or third-party analytics is built into the app.
1. Who we are and what this covers
Rho Tau develops Paydial. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in the Paydial iOS app and its widgets, on this website, and when you contact us. For privacy questions, contact info@rhotau.net.
2. Information in the app
You can enter a salary amount, whether it is annual, monthly, or weekly, your selected currency, pay frequency, and a payday or reference date. The app also stores display preferences, such as the selected timeframe and when you paused the counter.
These settings are stored locally using Apple's app storage. Salary and schedule settings are shared with the Paydial widget extension through a local App Group so that widgets can calculate and display earnings. This local sharing does not send the information to Rho Tau or to a third-party service.
The app uses the device's date, time, calendar, and locale to calculate and format estimates. It does not connect to your bank, employer, or payroll provider. It does not request your contacts, precise location, photos, microphone, or advertising identifier.
3. What Rho Tau collects
The current app has no developer-operated backend, account registration, advertising SDK, or third-party analytics SDK. It does not transmit salary settings, earnings, or app usage events to us. We do not sell salary information, use it for advertising, or track your activity across other companies' apps or websites.
Apple may process App Store transactions, app delivery, device backups, or diagnostic information according to your Apple settings and Apple's own policies. Those platform services are separate from the app's local salary calculations. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Widgets and backups
A Home Screen or Lock Screen widget may display earnings where other people can see them. You decide whether to add a widget and where it appears. Remove a widget or change your device's Lock Screen settings if you do not want those figures visible.
Your operating system or device-backup service may include local app data in backups, depending on your settings. Paydial does not implement its own cloud account or cloud synchronization. Rho Tau cannot access or delete your device backups; manage them through the relevant Apple or computer-backup settings.
5. This website
The website's interactive previews use example figures. Changing a preview timeframe does not submit personal salary information to us. The site does not use analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or marketing cookies, and its fonts and artwork are served with the site.
Our hosting and delivery providers process ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time, to deliver and secure the website. Their infrastructure may keep operational or security logs. When a preview is restricted to signed-in visitors, the hosting platform also handles the sign-in and access-control information under its own policy. This is separate from the app, which requires no account. Relevant provider information is available in the OpenAI Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

6. If you contact support
If you email info@rhotau.net, we receive your email address and the message, attachments, and other information you choose to send. We use that information to respond, investigate problems, and maintain relevant support records. Our email service processes correspondence to deliver and store messages.
Please do not send your salary, bank details, passwords, or unredacted screenshots unless they are necessary for the issue. We do not need your real salary to troubleshoot calculations; example amounts usually work.
We keep support correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, handle related follow-up, and meet applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it. If some information must be retained for a legal reason, we will explain that where permitted. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it for these purposes; we do not use support correspondence for advertising.
7. Your choices, retention, and deletion
You can review or change your salary settings inside the app. Local settings remain on your device until they are changed or the app's data is removed. The app does not currently offer a separate reset button.
To remove the local installation and its data, remove its widgets and choose Delete App in iOS, rather than Offload App or Remove from Home Screen. Backups are managed separately and may restore prior settings if you restore the device. See Privacy Choices for practical instructions.
There is no Paydial account to close, and we cannot remotely access or erase your local salary settings. To request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent to support, or raise another privacy concern, email us. Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, request portability, or complain to your local privacy regulator.
8. Purposes, legal grounds, and disclosures
Where a legal basis is required, we process support information to respond to your request and for our legitimate interest in maintaining and supporting the app. Essential website delivery and security processing serves our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website. We may retain or disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable, legally required safeguards apply to those transfers. This does not change the fact that the app itself does not send us your salary or earnings.
9. Children
Paydial is a general-purpose salary visualization tool, not a service directed to children. The app does not ask for age or knowingly collect children's personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can address it.
10. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when the app, website, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. If a future release changes how personal data is collected or used, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required by law.
